News Moms Need Team

Between us, my husband and I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Yikes, where did the time go? (Enjoy your babies while they’re small – they’ll be asking for the keys to the car before you can blink!) I have a masters degree in Health Advocacy and I love my job as the Associate Director of Health Information Delivery at the March of Dimes. In our blog, I’ll be posting on topics from planning for a baby to dealing with diaper rash. I look forward to sharing information about this exciting time in your lives. Be sure to send us comments and ask whatever questions you like.

Hi, there! I’ve been working in education and health communications for over 10 years. I’ll be posting information on hot news topics related to pregnancy and health. I have two little ones and a Boston Terrier named Lola, all of who keep me very busy! I’m originally from Boston and my husband is a native New Yorker. Red Sox or Yankees? Pats or Jets? Celtics or Knicks? The battle lines are drawn, but our kids have yet to choose a side :) .

Hi, I’m Sara. I am a genetic counselor and a health education specialist at the March of Dimes. I have two children ages 9 and 6 who keep me busy when I am at home. After taking some time off to be with them, I am back in the workforce trying to juggle job, family, friends, and on rare occasions, housekeeping. I am somewhat new to the blogging world, so I would love your comments, feedback, and suggestions.

Hello everyone. I’m glad to be a member of the team, although I am not new to the field of health education. I have worked in health promotion and disease management for many years. I have a Masters degree in Health Science. Personally, I bring my experiences of rearing two children – a boy and a girl, who are now college graduates and working in their first jobs! (Yes, it flew by!…) My passion lies in helping parents who have children with disabilities as my daughter has special needs. So, I write the Delays and disabilities – how to get help for your child weekly series which appears every Wednesday.  I look forward to sharing with you.
