Between us, my husband and I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Yikes, weren’t the kids potty training just a couple of years ago? (Enjoy your babies while they’re small – they’ll be asking for the keys to the car before you can blink!) I have a masters degree in Health Advocacy and I love my job as the Manager of the Pregnancy & Newborn Health Education Center at the March of Dimes. In our blog, I’ll be posting in the Planning for Baby and Pregnancy sections. I look forward to sharing information about this exciting time in your lives. Be sure to send us comments and ask questions.

I’m a health educator who has been helping women and their families for over 25 years. I’m married to a wonderful man. Although we have no children, our family is the most important thing in our lives—from my dad (90+ years) all the way down to his five beautiful great-grandchildren. Laughing together, loving each other, helping each other through the hard times—that’s what it’s all about. All of us here at News Moms Need hope to help you and your family be happy and healthy.

Hi there! I’ve been working in education and health communications for several years. I’ll be posting information on hot news topics related to pregnancy and health. My husband and I have been married for three wonderful years. No kids just yet, but we did recently welcome our new puppy, Lola, to our home! In the meantime, my husband and I are enjoying our time together and getting all of the health information we both need to have a healthy baby someday. I’m originally from Boston and my husband is a native New Yorker. So, whenever we do start our family, the key questions will be: will our kids root for the Red Sox or the Yankees? Pats or Jets? Celtics or Knicks? We’ll just have to wait and see!
